About Me

Hello my name is Joey Welden, I am a Lighting, Set, Sound, and Video Designer, as well as a Technical Director for live theatre.

 

I have also designed a number of events, from large dinner auctions to intimate wine tastings.

 

I have a BFA in Technical Direction from University of Evansville, and a MFA in Lighting, Sound and Video Design from California State University Fullerton.

I have spent the last 13 years teaching at a K-12 school. I enjoy designing and working on shows while working with and teaching students.
